A primary school in Chynowa is a part of a complex that includes: kindergarten, primary school and secondary school. There are 220 students (aged 7-15). The school has an excellent sports base, soccer field, playground, multifunction playfield. Students can develop their passions in many circles of interest. There is an aerobics team, choir, sports teams: football and basketball. Moreover, student council operates in a very active way. The school is surrounded by beautiful nature. There is an association which cooperates with the school. The organization creates interesting initiatives for children and adults. In the previous year, the school hosted 50 students from Ukraine. Chynowa is a village in the municipality of Przygodzice, It is 12 km far from Ostrów Wielkopolski. Chynowa is situated on the edge of the Barycz Valley Landscape Park that has been classified as a European Important Bird Area IBA and a Special Bird Protection Area "Barycz Valley" within the European Natura 2000 networking programme. Because of the fact that the school is situated in a small village students feel the need for interaction with other peers, especially the foreign ones. When it happens to host foreign students in our school the children are really hospitable and ready to take care of the visitors. The school is modern. Each class is equipped with interactive whiteboards and computers. Students have got access to the Internet. Moreover, the school has got its own kitchen and canteen where they can eat healthily. The school has been renovated within the thermal – modernization process. The process included replacing the heating system, windows and insulation of the building. Within the next few months, the school was changed.
