On the 23rd April, we were celebrating English Language Day. The students took part in many activities and in a tongue twister competition. They were really excited and really enjoyed it.
Portugal
About the English Language Day, we've prepared English performances in each class, such as songs, plays, poems and stories. All classes from the 1st cycle were invited and they had their performances in the auditorium.
We've created a Prezi presentation with all the activities and videos from that day.
The older students, to commemorate World Book and Copyright Day, had a meeting with a famous singer and songwriter, Cristóvam. This was a partnership with our library held by Lúcia Azevedo, the library coordinator.
About the singer, he always sings in English and he is an Azorean man, born in Terceira. This local singer had an exponential increase in success with music ANDRA TUTTO BENNE during this pandemic time.
